How far in advance should I book event security?
Short answer
Two to four weeks ahead is comfortable for most events, and six to eight weeks for large events, holidays and summer weekends. Last-minute requests are often possible. MT Security & Investigations regularly fills event requests within the same week, and sometimes the same day, when officers are available.
Why earlier is better

- Your venue and insurer get our license and insurance documents well ahead
- The officers you get are chosen for your kind of event
- Standard rates. Same-week bookings can cost 10 to 25 percent more.
