For anyone hiring security in california
Can I get a security guard in San Diego today?
Short answer
Often, yes. MT Security & Investigations fills same-day and overnight requests across San Diego County when an officer is available, with a four-hour minimum. Call (619) 765-2222 at any hour. Have the address, the hours needed and what happened ready. If no officer is free, you are told immediately so you can make other plans.
What to have ready when you call
- Property address and the nearest cross street
- What happened and whether police have been called
- Hours you need covered tonight, and whether it may continue
- Who has authority over the property and how to reach them
- Whether you want armed or unarmed
What it costs
Same-day and overnight shifts are typically 10 to 25 percent above standard rates of $18 to $35 per hour unarmed and $28 to $55 armed. You get the rate before the officer is sent.
Common same-day situations
A break-in with a door that cannot be secured, a guard from another company who did not show, a threat against staff, an event whose security fell through, an evacuation. See also switching security companies.
